What is a BirdieBug Special?
Answer:
BirdieBug offers a very limited number of special rates at most courses listed. Typically, we offer 4 to 8 players per day at these rates. BirdieBug Specials are always PREPAID and NONREFUNDABLE. You can cancel a BirdieBug Special at least 24 hours in advance or due to inclement weather. When you cancel a BirdieBug Special, you receive a credit good toward a future BirdieBug Special purchase.
What if I need support?

I received an email that shows that a BirdieBug Special is available for a certain course on a certain day, but that rate does not show.
Answer:
This probably means that someone booked the remaining BirdieBug Special(s) for that course and day between the time the email was generated and the time of your search. Remember, these are very limited.
How do I use a Promotion Code?
Answer:
Find the course using the Course Selector on the left side of the home page. Click Search Tee Times. After the intial results load, you can enter the Promotion Code in the Search Criteria area at the uppoer portion of the screen (near the Number of Players and Date options). After you have entered the Promotion Code, click "SEARCH". The updated prices will now appear.
Can I book more than one tee time at the BirdieBug Special rate?
Answer:
Sometimes. Typically, we offer 1 or 2 foursomes per day (up to 8 players) at the BirdieBug Special rate. On rare occassions, we can offer more. If you would like to book more than one group at a BirdieBug Special rate, choose the first tee time by clicking "Select" and then choose the option for "Add to cart and search for additional tee times" on the following screen. If the BirdieBug Special rates are still available, you will be able to choose another time. Otherwise, it will show "Not Available."
What if I need to add an addtional player(s) to a reservation?
Answer:

Note: You can only add additional players to a reservation if the space is still available. Also, the rate you originally booked may no longer be available, based on limits on the number of those rates that may be sold.

You can add players to an existing reservation directly through BirdieBug.com. If the additional players do not show at your original time, you can cancel your original time and use the credit toward a tee time with the new number of players at an alternate time. To ensure that those players are available before cancelling, just search for the number of additional players you will add to confirm that there are still that number of players available at the BirdieBug Special rate. Of course, just call us if that is easier.

I want to book more golfers than are available at the BirdieBug Special rate. What can I do?
Answer:
Many golfers choose to book as many players as they can at the BirdieBug Special rate and the remainder at the best available rate from the golf course. If you need help from BirdieBug to get this booked (like if you need to add a single golfer at the course's best rate), please call us at 877.898.1919.
How does a rain check work for a BirdieBug Special?
Answer:
BirdieBug provides rain checks based on the number of holes you were able to finish. The golf course will not provide you with a rain check. If inclement weather prevents you from completing your round, then please check in with the golf shop and let them know the number of holes you were able to complete. When you can, contact BirdieBug at 877.898.1919 and let us know that you were not able to complete your round. We will check with the golf shop to confirm the number of holes played.
Can I book fewer than 4 golfers?
Answer:
You can search on 1, 2, 3 or 4 golfers on BirdieBug. Once you select a golf course (or an area), there are search criteria at the top of the tee times that return (date, times and players). When you change these criteria, the results will clear. When you have the criteria you want (e.g., 2 players), then click "SEARCH" again.

BirdieBug typically only allows single golfers to be booked with existing groups of 2 or 3 players.

How do I use a BirdieBug Credit?
Answer:
To use a BirdieBug Credit, just go through the normal booking process. When you get to Checkout, make sure to click "Apply Credit." The credit will not apply automatically. Just remember that BirdieBug Credits are valid for prepaid tee times only - marked "BirdieBug Specials."
